Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Shiftelix across our public website, web application, and mobile apps.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Shiftelix, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service access

Shiftelix provides workforce scheduling, shift management, compliance workflows, and related tools for organizations. We may update, improve, or modify features over time. Access to some features may depend on workspace configuration, role permissions, mobile-platform capabilities, or plan availability.

Accounts and responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for activity under your account.
  • You must ensure that you have authority to upload, manage, or administer workspace and employee data.
  • Organizations are responsible for the actions of their authorized users within their workspaces.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities.
  • Attempt to access data you do not have permission to view.
  • Reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its security.
  • Upload malicious code, interfere with other customers, or misuse exports, notifications, or communications features.
  • Use Shiftelix to violate employment, privacy, or workplace rules that apply to your organization.

Customer data and intellectual property

You retain rights in the data you submit to Shiftelix, subject to the rights needed for us to host, process, secure, and display that data in order to provide the service. Shiftelix and its software, branding, documentation, and product content remain the property of Shiftelix or its licensors.

If you provide suggestions or feedback, we may use that input to improve the service without obligation to you, so long as we do not publicly identify confidential customer information as part of that use.

Subscriptions and fees

If your organization purchases a paid plan, applicable pricing, billing cadence, and commercial terms will be presented through the relevant order form, checkout flow, or written agreement. You are responsible for timely payment of amounts due under those terms.

Third-party services

If you connect third-party services such as Google Calendar, you authorize us to share the necessary data to provide the integration. You are responsible for complying with third-party terms. You may disconnect at any time, and we will remove stored tokens and sync mappings.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Shiftelix at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, misuse the service, create security risk, or if continued access would create legal or operational harm.

Account lifecycle flows, including workspace exit and account deletion, are subject to retained-record, ownership-transfer, and continuity requirements reflected in the product. If you cannot access those flows in-app, visit /account-deletion or contact Shiftelix Support.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shiftelix is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
